THR Poaches LAT’s Head of Movie Advertising

Michaela Apruzzese named trade’s new associate publisher

Michaela Apruzzese has been named associate publisher at the Hollywood Reporter.

Apruzzese currently serves as the director of movie advertising for Los Angeles Times Media Group, where she is responsible "for nearly $100 million in revenue," according to a release.

At THR, Apruzzese will oversee entertainment industry advertising "across the Hollywood Reporter’s media agnostic platform." She starts in June.

In March, Richard Beckman, CEO of THR owner e5 Global Media, ousted Eric Mika as publisher, replacing him in April with Lori Burgess, the publisher of OK! magazine.

Apruzzese will report to Burgess.
