If you thought Donald Trump’s lines were bad when he hosted “The Apprentice,” you ain’t heard nothing yet.
Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine came with corny jokes inspired by the NBC reality show during Tuesday’s vice presidential debate, which were worse than anything the presidential hopeful ever uttered in his past career.
“You are Donald Trump’s apprentice,” Kaine said of Mike Pence.
A few minutes later, when talking about the national debt, Kaine unloaded another dorky joke, saying that, “On the economy, there’s a fundamental choice for the American electorate: Do you want a ‘You’re hired’ president in Hillary Clinton, or do you want a ‘You’re fired’ president in Donald Trump?” he asked, referring to Trump’s old catchphrase.
