“Saturday Night Live” unveiled its top-notch line-up of December hosts on Tuesday: including one killer “Weekend Update” reunion.
On Dec. 19, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will co-headline the final original episode of the calendar year, which boasts musical guest Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Ryan Gosling and Chris Hemsworth will lead the other new episodes next month.
Leon Bridges joins Gosling on Dec. 5, while Chance The Rapper will perform on Hemsworth’s Dec. 12 episode.
Gosling will be promoting Dec. 23’s “The Big Short” when he makes his “SNL” debut. Hemsworth, in his second shot, will be plugging “In the Heart of the Sea.”
Former cast members Fey and Poehler co-star in upcoming comedy “Sisters,” which comes out on Dec. 18. Springsteen is set to release box set “The Ties That Bind: The River Collection” on Dec. 4.
“Saturday Night Live” is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.
