There will also be a few changes to the competition. The contenders will compete in pairs, rather than individually, for a chance to work for Valastro at the new Carlo’s Bakery at Las Vegas’ The Venetian and a grand prize of $100,000.

There will also be a new round on each episode in which the lowest-ranked teams will compete against each other in an elimination challenge. The challenges will also go beyond baking cakes to other forms of desserts and pastries.
