TMZ Names Brett Bouttier General Manager

Executive will also continue managing digital TV ad sales for Warner Bros. Television Group

Gossip site TMZ has named Warner Brother executive Brett Bouttier as its general manager.

In addition to his new duties, Bouttier will continue to manage digital TV ad sales for Warner's Television Group.

In his new post, Bouttier will oversee TMZ revenue and ad sales, as well as its day-to-day operations.

For Bouttier's sake, we hope he's not subjected to those horse shoe meetings where Executive Producer Harvey Levin sucks down a Big Gulp with a fresh Kardashian rumor chaser.

"Brett has been involved with TMZ since its inception, so he really understands the brand," Levin said in a statement. "It will be great to have him fully dedicated to TMZ."

"TMZ is a unique cross-platform brand," said Paratore. "Brett's range of experience in television and the digital space is exactly what we need as we continue to innovate and grow TMZ."

Bouttier most recently served as senior vice president, digital for Warner Brother Television Group. He joined the company as vice president, new business and sales strategy for telepictures in 2004 from NBC Universal Television, where started his career.
