Self-proclaimed “liberals’ worst nightmare” Tomi Lahren said she doesn’t “expect any liberal show or comedy show or anything from the mainstream media to be fair.”
Appearing on Fox News’ ‘The O’Reilly Factor,” O’Reilly introduced the segment with a graphic calling TheBlaze host the “new conservative voice” on the heels of her news-making appearance on “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.”
Lahren explained to O’Reilly how she got started in the industry, saying she “used the internet to her advantage,” before chiding the mainstream media for its resistance to conservative voices.
“Sometime you’ve got to go directly online,” she said about the viral videos that kickstarted her career.
Last week, Lahren appeared on Noah’s show, battling the headwinds of home field advantage and a live studio audience, as well as several shots fired before she even came on set. But Lahren told O’Reilly that she knew what she was getting herself into.
“You can’t expect them to play fair,” Lahren said. “I don’t expect any liberal show or comedy show or anything from the mainstream media to be fair. I’ve already accepted that.”
O’Reilly said he “expects” fairness but agreed that it doesn’t happen. The Fox News host then told Lahren she did a “nice job” and was an “interesting person.”
We have a feeling it won’t be her last appearance on the “Factor.”
