The Cubs have finally won the World Series, breaking a 108-year curse, and of course they had to get there in dramatic fashion.

Chicago’s “lovable losers” no more were down 3 games to 1 to the Cleveland Indians, and it looked as if they might go 109 years without a World Series win.

But the young club rallied and came back to win the championship in Game 7 Wednesday night in an extra-innings showdown at Cleveland’s Progressive Field.
