Warning: Publishing photos of topless Kate Middleton photos can be dangerous to your job.
Britain's royal family has won an injunction in a French court preventing the French magazine “Closer” from publishing more paparazzi shots of Middleton sunbathing topless while on vacation in south France.
Mondadori France, the mag’s publishing company, will be fined about $12,000 per day if it publishes any more of the photos or gives them to another publication following the Tuesday judgment, The Guardian reports.
And another French court opened a separate criminal investigation Tuesday looking into charges that “Closer” and the photographer breached Prince William and Kate's privacy by publishing the topless photos.
If found guilty, the magazine could be fined up to $59,000, and the editor and photographer could be jailed for up to a year.

Mondadori, which is owned by the former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, will also have to pay about $2,600 toward legal fees.
