Reported ‘Transformers 3’ Title a Nod to Pink Floyd?

Fan site reveals that part three will be called “The Dark of the Moon”

Pink Floyd, call your lawyers.

It's not clear if Michael Bay and Paramount intend to name check Roger Waters, but the apparent title for "Transformers 3" references the group's iconic hit.

The third part in the angry machine franchise is slated to be called "Transformers: The Dark of the Moon," according to fan site Seibertron.com

Paramount did not immediately respond to TheWrap's request for comment, but the site was able to unearth the apparent title by sifting through a series of tie-in novels that are listed on Amazon.

Among the books slated to hit shelves are “Transformers: The Dark of the Moon – Secret of the Autobots,“ “Transformers: The Dark of the Moon – Autobots Betrayed!“ and “Transformers: The Dark of the Moon: Invasion of the Decepticons."

Seibertron also reports that a domain name, transformersthedarkofthemoonmovie.com, has been registered.

Though the English rock group may disagree, the title makes sense given that parts of the movie reportedly take place in space. The movie has been shooting at Kennedy Space Center.
