Trevor Noah Channels Lenny Kravitz to Solve a Key Impeachment Inquiry Issue (Video)

It’s not a reference to “It Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Over”

On Tuesday’s “The Daily Show,” Trevor Noah took inspiration from singer Lenny Kravitz to come up with an idea for resolving a key impeachment inquiry fight on Tuesday’s “They Daily Show.”

The moment came during a new segment, “The Full Story,” which brought fans up to speed on the events leading up to Nancy Pelosi’s announcement Tuesday that the House of Representatives will conduct impeachment inquiries into Donald Trump.

The segment covered the report of a formal whistleblower complaint about a promise Trump made to an unnamed foreign leader; subsequent reporting that Trump tried to pressure Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate Joe Biden’s son; and Trump’s later admissions that he did so.

Now for the Kravitz reference. Earlier Tuesday the “Are You Gonna Go My Way” singer made a stir with an emotional plea to fans to help him find a lost pair of “incredibly sentimental” sunglasses. He even provided an email address — kravitzglasses@gmail.com.

So, as he ended the segment, Noah noted that the last piece of the puzzle is the still-undisclosed whistleblower report. Congress has given the Trump Administration until Thursday to turn it over in compliance with the law.

“Thanks to Lenny Kravitz, we have the perfect solution,” Noah said. “If you have the whistleblower report, please, we need you to email it to trumpwhistleblower@gmail.com.”
