Trevor Noah Says Herschel Walker Should Have a Say in Woman’s Abortion Because ‘It’s Probably His’ (Video)

“Ladies, check. They’re all his,” Noah joked

Trevor Noah does not believe that any politicians should have a say in whether a woman can get an abortion. But if there was only one who deserves it, it’s Herschel Walker – because, as Noah joked on Wednesday night, Walker is probably the father.

Noah’s comments came while discussing this week’s midterm election debate between Pennsylvania senate candidates John Fetterman and Mehmet Oz. During the debate, Oz didn’t actually say whether he’d vote for a national abortion ban, only that he doesn’t think the federal government should rule on “how states decide their abortion decisions.”

“I don’t want the federal government involved with that at all,” he said. “I want women, doctors, local political leaders, letting the democracy that’s always allowed our nation to thrive to put the best ideas forward so states can decide for themselves.”

Oz’s comments sparked wide backlash, with Noah calling it outright “bulls—.” That said, Noah was impressed by how Oz managed to slip in the fact that he does think politicians should be involved on some level.

“[It] was pretty slick, right? I like how he did it. Because he started that sentence like he was on the side of women,” Noah said. “And then he snuck in the politicians at the end, like a teenager buying condoms at a gas station. He’s like ‘Uh, let me get those Cheetos, and the root beer, and canIgetthoseTrojancondomsplease.”

But, however “slick” Noah thinks Oz to be, he definitely doesn’t agree with the overall sentiment. In fact, the “Daily Show” host argued that there’s only one politician in the country who should get to weigh in on an abortion — and that’s only because he might have a personal stake in the matter.

“I think we can all agree, there is only one politician who should have a say in your abortion — and that’s Herschel Walker, ’cause it’s his!” Noah joked. “It’s his. It’s probably his. Ladies, check. They’re all his.”
