‘True Blood’ Season 5 Trailer: Eric and Bill Team Up (Video)

Newbie cast member Chris Meloni tries to spruce up human-vampire relations as Vampire Authority leader Roman

The newest trailer for the fifth season of HBO's vampire drama "True Blood" comes with the Twitter hashtag #WaitingSucks, an appropriate sentiment after an action-packed clip that features vampire king Russell wanting "anarchy," and Chris Meloni joining the cast as Vampire Authority head Roman.

Vampire-human relations have broken down, to say the least, and Roman is none-too-pleased about it. And now that 3,000-year-old Russell Edgington (Denis O'Hare) is back to wreak havoc, Roman, as well as the newly-formed partnership of Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and Bill (Stephen Moyer), have their work cut out for them.

Sookie (Anna Paquin), as usual, is at the center of it all, even if she doesn't want to be, as Eric points out.

"I don't think she wants anything to do with us again," says Eric.

"I don't think we give her the choice," Bill replies.

Season five, which premieres on HBO on June 10, will also include new cast members Scott Foley as Patrick, an old war pal of Terry's; Louis Herthum as Alcide's dad; "General Hospital" star Carolyn Hennesy as vampire Rosalyn Harris; and Kelly Overton as werewolf Rikki.
