Kellyanne Conway’s Sunday interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press” came under immediate fire by President-elect Donald Trump, who took to Twitter (again) and accused the NBC News show of “dishonestly editing.”
“Meet the Press” ran a minute-long segment of host Chuck Todd’s 10-minute interview with Trump adviser Conway in which they discussed a number of hot topics, including the report from the intelligence community about Russian hacking.
Conway, who was recently appointed as Counselor to the President by Trump, refuted reports of the Russian’s influence on the presidential election, saying Russia “did not succeed’ in attempts to sway the outcome.

CNN’s Brian Stelter got word from an NBC source that Trump’s transition team was aware of and agreed to the 10-minute interview knowing only a soundbite would be used.
NBC source says Team Trump knew (on Friday) that the show was only planning to run a sound bite from @KellyannePolls, not full interview https://t.co/8xFulaizfC

Conway refutes that as well.
False. We're not in the business of furnishing 10-minute Sunday show interviews so media can choose which "soundbite" to run. Our POV cut… https://t.co/3a4Fu8ID2s

This isn’t Trump’s first beef with NBC. In December, the president-elect blasted “NBC Nightly News” as “biased, inaccurate and bad,” apparently because he didn’t like an NBC segment that showed excerpts of his “Fox News Sunday” interview with Chris Wallace in which he said he rejects CIA findings regarding Russia hacking the election and opts not to receive daily intelligence briefings.
Trump has had an interesting relationship with NBC. He said he will remain as an executive producer of the network’s “Celebrity Apprentice” when he is president — but mocked the ratings for the show under new host Arnold Schwarzenegger. He also has complained about Alec Baldwin’s impression of him on “Saturday Night Live.”
