Trump Campaign Manager Appears to Grab a Protester at Tucson Rally in CBS News Video

Corey Lewandowski is seen interacting with protester at a Trump event, possibly repeating physical style of confrontation displayed last week with a Breitbart reporter.

Round 2 for Corey Lewandowski? In a new video, the embattled campaign manager for the Trump campaign appears to grab a protester at a Saturday Trump rally in Tucson, Arizona.

The video was posted by CBS News late Saturday. Lewandowski’s methods of dealing with the media and the public have taken center stage since he apparently manhandled Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields at a campaign event last week.

Events at the Saturday rally were explosive, with veterans and immigrants’ rights groups making their presence known early, in the hall and outside. At another Trump event in the state, a protester was seen being punched and kicked by a Trump supporter, who was reportedly arrested.

“I hate to have ’em arrested, you know, we have this hall, this is our hall, and we could have him arrested, really they’re trespassing, you do that – you ruin their lives, who wants to do it, right?” Trump said to the crowd, as reported by CBS News.

Hope Hicks, a Trump spokeswoman, tried to deflate the situation in a Saturday statement to The New York Times. “”Corey Lewandowski was speaking with a protester at today’s rally in Tucson, Arizona when the individual he was speaking with was pulled from behind by the man to Lewandowski’s left. The video clearly shows the protester reacting to the man who pulled him, not to Mr. Lewandowski. Mr. Trump does not condone violence at his rallies, which are private events paid for by the campaign.”
