President Donald Trump took his attack on mainstream media personalities to a shockingly ad hominem place on Thursday, sending out a pair of tweets about MSNBC morning hosts “Psycho” Joe Scarborough and “low I.Q. Crazy” Mika Brzezinski.
“She was bleeding badly from a face-lift,” he wrote of an encounter with Brzezinski he claims he had in Florida weeks before his inauguration.
Trump also slammed the pair for what he described as their “poorly rated” show “Morning Joe,” which he said he no longer watches after years of being a loyal viewer.
POTUS then hinted that the co-hosts, who recently announced their engagement, might be talking bad about him because of a personal slight — alleging that Scarborough and Brzezinski went to Trump’s resort in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, “3 nights in a row around New Year’s Eve, and insisted on joining me.”
He added, “I said no.”
Brzezinski is the daughter of former U.S. National Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski, who died just one month ago; Scarborough is a former Republican congressman, who served Florida’s 1st district from 1995 to 2001.
A spokesperson for MSNBC responded: “It’s a sad day for America when the president spends his time bullying, lying and spewing petty personal attacks instead of doing his job.”
I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don't watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came..

In addition, Brzezinksi offered her own response on Twitter, posting an image of a Cheerios box with the tagline “Made For Small Hands” — a reference to the president’s repeated defensiveness over the physical attribute that emerged during last year’s campaign.
