Trump Lashes Out After Fox News Poll Shows 51% Favor Impeachment: ‘They Suck’

“Whoever their Pollster is, they suck,” president says of Fox News

The latest Fox News polling shows record support for President Trump’s possible impeachment, which led the president to tweet Thursday, “Whoever their Pollster is, they suck.”

“From the day I announced I was running for President, I have NEVER had a good @FoxNews poll,” he wrote Thursday, one day after the poll showed 51% support impeachment and removal, up 8% from July. He claimed, again, that the channel is “much different than it used to be in the good old days.”

Trump them attacked senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano, afternoon anchor Shepard Smith and contributor Donna Brazile by name in a subsequent tweet, saying Fox News “doesn’t deliver for US anymore.”

“It’s so different than it used to be,” he concluded. “Oh well, I’m President!”

A representative for Fox News did not immediately return a request for comment on the president’s statements.

The poll also found 4% of respondents want Trump “impeached, but not removed.” In July that number was 5%.

Only 40% said they don’t want the president impeached at all, down from 45% in July.

The ratings on Trump’s job performance weren’t as dramatic: 43% approve vs. 45% in September and 55% disapprove compared to 54% in September.
