Twitter has tapped Pixar CFO Ali Rowghani to be its chief financial officer.
Rowghani, CFO and senior vice president of strategic planning for Pixar Animation Studios, announced his move to the microblogging service — how else? — via his Twitter account.
"Said goodbye to Pixar today," he tweeted. "Loved every minute of my time there. Couldn’t be more excited about the adventure awaiting me at Twitter."
He’ll join Twitter in March, the company announced Wednesday.
“Ali will be an important member of a growing team focused on creating value for our users and capturing the financial opportunities that result from it,” Twitter CEO Evan
Williams said in a statement. “His thoughtfulness on retaining a great culture to work and staying consistent with your principles will also be a significant contribution.”
