Donald Trump took to Twitter on Monday morning to bash recent “fake news” polls that examined the president’s approval ratings as he approaches his 100th day in office this week.
Social media responded by ripping Trump over including someone (or something) named “General E. Watch” in the message.
It appears Trump was referring to the general election, but abbreviated it by writing, “General E.,” followed by, “Watch!” The bizarre style has resulted in everyone wondering who General E. Watch might be.
The two fake news polls released yesterday, ABC & NBC, while containing some very positive info, were totally wrong in General E. Watch!

One user urged the president to “please send my husband, General E. Watch, home from war,” while another wrote, “I feel like General E. Watch is a Looney Tunes character I missed.”
Another user wrote, “General E. Watch fought side by side with Frederick Douglass at the Bowling Green Massacre, God Rest Their Souls.”
An ABC News/Washington Post poll released Sunday found only 42 percent of Americans say they approve of the job the president is doing so far. Meanwhile, an NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll found almost half of respondents said Trump was off to a “poor start” in office.
Check out some of the Twitter reaction:
General E. Watch, presumably a brave and punctual hero, is probably getting recognized more and more. https://t.co/gKmQTGU5TN

General E. Watch is Trump's other personality that wasn't a draft dodger, actually understands the government and military, & is imaginary. pic.twitter.com/VEkPAOGRRf
