Police have made two arrests in connection with the murder of former MTV music coordinator Gabriel Aron Ben-Meir, the Los Angeles Police Department confirms to The Wrap.

Police told TheWrap that there are two other homicides connected with the robberies, and that they believe Ben-Meir's death was the result of a robbery.

Ben-Meir was found outside of his home in the Mid-Wilshire area of Los Angeles early Sunday morning with a gunshot wound in the back of his head, in what police described at the time as an execution-style killing. Police believe he was shot sometime after 1 a.m., though he was discovered by a man who was walking his dog at approximately 6:30 a.m.

Ben-Meir, who had worked on series such as "Punk'd" and "Top Pop Group," was 30.

News of the arrests was first reported by the Los Angeles Times.
