The CW added a 13th original series, “Two Sentence Horror Stories,” to its summer schedule Monday.

The anthology series premieres with back-to-back episodes on Aug. 8, joining 12 other shows in the network’s summer lineup. Episodes of “Two Sentence Horror Stories” will feature Nicole Kang (“Batwoman”), Jim Parrack (“Suicide Squad”) and Aleyse Shannon (“Charmed”).

Per the network, the series is inspired by the viral fan fiction of two sentence horror stories. The CW says, “These contemporary tales of horror and haunting tap into universal primal fears, filtered through the anxieties of the most connected and racially diverse generation. Despite dizzying advancements in technology, inequality, social progress, and environmental degradation… the things that haunt us are still the same.”

From Stage 13 in association with Warner Bros., “Two Sentence Horror Stories” is executive produced by Vera Miao (“Best Friends Forever”), Emily Wiedemann (“Creative Control”) and Chazz Carfora (“Stories From the Felt”).

New shows including U.K. import “Bulletproof,” Taye Diggs-hosted game show “Hypnotize Me,” sports docuseries “Red Bull Peaking,” investigative docuseries “Mysteries Decoded,” and futuristic sci-fi drama “Pandora” all got summer premiere dates as well.

“Pandora” premieres on July 9, with “Bulletproof” arriving on July 28. “Hypnotize Me” arrives Aug. 7, followed by “Mysteries Decoded” coming Aug. 13, Season 2 of CW Seed’s musical comedy “I Ship It” returning Aug. 19, and “Red Bull Peaking” coming Sept. 13.

The series finale of “iZombie” will air on Aug. 1. The midseason shows will finish up their run this summer, with Season 1 of “In the Dark” ending June 27, followed by Season 6 of “The 100” ending on Aug. 6. A special celebratory episode of “Jane the Virgin” will air July 31 at 8 p.m. ET/PT ahead of the series finale at 9 p.m.
