The 20th annual Webby Award winners were announced on Tuesday, with Netflix, Spotify, YouTube star Tyler Oakley and Michelle Obama topping the list.
A set of judges including Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, Instagram’s Eva Chen, Questlove, Internet inventor Vint Cerf and Susan P. Crawford selected this year’s Webby Award Winners, with more than 2 million fans around the world voting for the Webby People’s Voice Awards.
In addition to the winners in each of the awards’ categories, the judges have also recognized five individuals with Special Achievement Awards. The Onion, Jessica Alba, the #BlackLivesMatter movement, Netflix’s “Making a Murderer” and “Girls” co-creators Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner will each receive individual achievement awards.
A ceremony honoring the winners will take place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on Monday, May 16, 2016. The entire show will be available to stream on the Webby Awards site the following day.
