Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry are celebrating their expansive TV partnership with a primetime OWN special.
“Too Darn Hot Party” is a one-hour special which will take viewers behind the scenes of a party Perry recently hosted to celebrate the renewals of his four OWN series. The star-studded special will air Tuesday at 10 p.m. following Perry’s series, “The Haves and the Have Nots.”
Mary J. Blige’s performance at the bash can be seen on “Too Darn Hot Party,” along with guest appearances by Jennifer Hudson, Stevie Wonder and even Winfrey herself.
The special also includes fan videos, memorable scenes and interviews with cast members from Tyler’s OWN shows, including “For Better or Worse,” “Love Thy Neighbor,” “The Haves and the Have Nots” and his newest drama, “If Loving You is Wrong,” as well as reflections by other stars such as “Selma” director Ava DuVernay, Iyanla Vanzant, Niecy Nash and Loretta Devine.
