ABC announced Monday that “Good Morning America” regulars Robin Roberts and Lara Spencer will team up for next month’s pre-Oscar red carpet ceremonies.
Roberts, who recently made headlines when she came out in a thank you note to fans on Facebook, will be assisted by male model Tyson Beckford and EW/People magazine’s Jess Cagle.

Cagle was a previous host of the pre-Oscar show and was just named editor of “People” in January.

ABC also revealed the program would be produced by Brad Lachman. Craig Zadan and Neil Meron were also announced as the pre-show’s executive producers.
The award show will be hosted by Ellen DeGeneres and broadcast live on ABC March 2nd.
