Perhaps “Uncle Buck” is a bit of a loser, after all. The ABC small-screen adaptation lost one-third of its viewers in the key 18-49 demographic from last week’s debut.
To be fair to Mike Epps & Co., however, this week’s “Buck” lead-in was much weaker — a “Black-ish” encore (0.7 rating), versus a “To Tell the Truth” preview (a 1.1).
Over on primetime-winner NBC, sketch show “Maya & Marty” actually bested the series finale of CBS’ “Person of Interest” in the main demo.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.9 rating in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 9.1 million, according to preliminary numbers. “America’s Got Talent” at 8 p.m. ET scored a 2.3/9 and 11.5 million viewers. At 10, “Maya & Marty” posted a 1.1/4 and 4.4 million viewers.
Univision was second in ratings with a 1.0/4, but fourth in viewers with 2.6 million.
ABC was third in ratings with a 0.9/3 and in viewers with 3.8 million. Following reruns, “Uncle Buck” at 9 p.m. ET settled for a 1.0/4 and 3.7 million viewers. “To Tell the Truth” at 10 received a 1.0/3 and 4.4 million viewers.

CBS was fourth in ratings with a 0.8/3, but second in viewers with 6.3 million. Following repeats, the “Person of Interest” finale at 10 p.m. ET had a 1.0/3 and 6.5 million viewer.
Fox and Telemundo tied for fifth in ratings, both with a 0.6/2. Fox was fifth in total viewers with 2 million, Telemundo was sixth with 1.6 million.
For Fox, “Hotel Hell” at 8 p.m. ET got a 0.8/3 and 2.6 million viewers. At 9, “Coupled” managed a 0.5/2 and 1.3 million viewers.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in viewers with 1.1 million. After a rerun, “Containment” got a 0.3/1 and 1.2 million viewers.
