John Cena is for whom the bells tolled tonight: The Undertaker returned to WWE on Sunday, just in time for a *surprise* WrestleMania 34 match. (Those asterisks mean we totally knew this was coming.)
The “Blockers” star spent weeks lobbying the Dead Man for a fight at the pro-wrestling promotion’s biggest pay-per-view of the year, though no one had heard from ‘taker ’til tonight. Cena — and the WWE Universe — heard Mark Calaway loud and clear on Sunday evening.

In case you didn’t already guess based on all the pageantry and our progression of Twitter videos above, Undertaker won the mid-show match quickly and handily. A huge choke-slam and one special pile-driver later was all she wrote for the wrestler-turned-actor.
No, it wasn’t quite a WrestleMania classic, but the Mercedes-Benz Superdome fans experienced a spectacle, ‘taker got some redemption, and Cena got enough screen time to remind us all that “Blockers” is out in theaters now.
Win-win-win, we suppose — especially considering Cena got to bury Elias just before his actual opponent rose into the New Orleans arena.
