Universal Options ‘Let It Snow’ Book Featuring Short Story by John Green

The “Fault In Our Stars” author contributed to the collection with Mauren Johnson and Lauren Myracle

Universal Pictures has optioned the film rights to “Let It Snow,” a short story collection written by “The Fault In Our Stars” author John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle.

Each story is set during a Christmas Eve snowstorm, which means Universal may develop the project as a holiday release.

Scott Stuber and Dylan Clark will produce under their Universal-based banner Bluegrass Films.

Universal’s senior VP of production Kristin Lowe and creative executive Chloe Yellin will oversee the project for the studio, while Alexa Faigen will oversee for Bluegrass Films.

UTA negotiated the film deal.

Green is represented by Writers House. Johnson is represented by KT Literary. Myracle is represented by BG Literary.
