With days left in the July sweep, the Spanish-language network is on pace to best its network competitors Fox, ABC, NBC and NBC in primetime in the 18-49 demographic for the period, Univision said Monday.

Univision has averaged 1.817 million total viewers in the demo for July primetime, besting second-place Fox — which has averaged 1,499,000 million viewers age 18-49 — by 21 percent.

NBC, CBS and ABC are tracking to come in third, fourth and fifth, with with 1,474,000; 1,440,000 and 1,154,000 viewers in the demo, respectively.

Univision's victory in the July sweep, which ends Wednesday, isn't particularly surprising; this will mark the network's sixth consecutive for the period. However, Univision also has the distinction of being the only network to grow in the demo compared to 2012's July sweep, ticking up 6 percent, compared to a 24 percent drop for ABC, a 20 percent drop for Fox, and a 2 percent decline for NBC.

In total viewers, Univision finished fourth, ahead of Fox.
