USA Promotes Frank DeRose to SVP of Scheduling, Strategic Planning

Helped launch hits like “Royal Pains” and “White Collar” for the No. 1 basic-cable network

Frank DeRose to senior vice president of program scheduling and strategic planning for USA Networks. 

DeRose — part of the team that launched and scheduled hit series like "Royal Pains," "White Collar," "Covert Affairs," "Suits," "Fairly Legal" and "Necessary Roughness" for USA — will oversee the scheduling teams for USA, CLOO and Universal HD.

He previously held positions at Lifetime, Viacom International and Showtime, helping to launch "Killer Instinct," the first original reality series for the rebranded CLOO last year.

"I've worked with Frank for over 20 years and I've always said he has one of the best 'scheduling guts' in the business," executive vice president, programming, acquisitions & scheduling Jane Blaney said in a statement.  "He has been an invaluable part of our success and this well-deserved promotion reflects the great work he does for USA, CLOO and UniHD."

DeRose, who was also a freelance writer and producer for MCA-TV, WNEW-TV, CBS/Fox Video, Buena Vista Television and IBM/Microsoft, earned a B.A. in Communications from Fordham University.
