Usher Gives James Corden Dance Lessons on ‘Carpool Karaoke’ (Video)

Duo sings hits like “Yeah,” “Caught Up” and “Burn”

Usher Carpool Karaoke

When you take Usher along for a ride through traffic in Los Angeles, you might just get dance lessons from him.

When Usher accompanied James Corden to work on “Carpool Karaoke,” the duo sang some of the crooner’s best-known hits like “Caught Up,” “OMG” and “Burn.” It’s been 13 years since Usher’s biggest jam, “Yeah!,” but the singer still knows every single word; Corden nailed the rap part of the song as well.

The duo then pulled over into a lot, prompting Usher to teach Corden how to “step into the club” and dance with a lot of “swagger.”

“Yeah, I’m never going to the club with you,” Corden said after he realized that he can’t quite get it down.

Usher and Corden then headed to the performer’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where they noticed some smudges and proceeded to clean it. Of course, they took a quick selfie to commemorate the event.

While singing Usher’s 2011 hit “I Don’t Mind,” Corden was a little perplexed about the line, “I’m proud to call you my b—-” because it seemed to be a paradox to the rest of the song. But Usher clarified that “there’s a time and place for every expression” and it was just “friendly banter.”
