It’s a war zone out there for CW’s “Valor.” The military drama dropped last night from its already weak start, pushing the young-skewing network behind Spanish-language networks Univision and Telemundo in the ratings on Monday.
NBC finished first in the key 18-49 demographic thanks to “The Voice,” while “Dancing With the Stars” and “The Good Doctor” handed ABC the most total viewers in primetime.
ABC was preempted in about 1.8 percent of the country for ESPN’s “Monday Night Football.”
NBC was first in ratings with a 1.9 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 8.5 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 p.m. scored a 2.3/9 and 10.2 million viewers. At 10, “The Brave” had a 1.0/4 and 5.2 million viewers.
ABC was second in ratings with a 1.7/6 and in viewers with 10.1 million. “DWTS” at 8 earned a 1.5/5 and 9.8 million viewers. “The Good Doctor” at 10 landed a 2.1/8 and 10.9 million viewers.
CBS was third in ratings with a 1.2/5 and in viewers with 6.6 million. “The Big Bang Theory” at 8 posted a 2.7/11 and 12.6 million viewers. At 8:30, “9JKL” got a 1.3/5 and 6.8 million viewers. “Kevin Can Wait” at 9 received a 1.1/4 and 6.1 million viewers. At 9:30, “Me, Myself & I” managed a 0.8/3 and 4.3 million viewers. “Scorpion” at 10 swept up primetime with a 0.8/3 and 4.8 million viewers.
Fox was fourth in ratings with a 1.0/3 and in viewers with 3.3 million. “Lucifer” at 8 had a 0.8/3 and 3.1 million viewers. At 9, “The Gifted” got a 1.1/4 and 3.5 million viewers.
Telemundo was fifth in ratings with a 0.7/2 and in viewers with 1.7 million.
Univision was sixth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in viewers with 1.5 million.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.4/1 and in viewers with 1.4 million. “Supergirl” at 8 received a 0.5/2 and 1.8 million viewers. At 9, “Valor” settled for a 0.2/1 and 1 million viewers.
