Nicole Richie Longs for the Life of a Tall Person on ‘Candidly Nicole’ (Exclusive Video)

On Thursday’s episode of the VH1 series, the star counts the ways her short stature has limited her life

Woe is Nicole Richie.

On Thursday’s episode of VH1’s fun and offbeat reality series “Candidly Nicole,” the actress, fashion designer, writer and Lionel Richie’s daughter is fixated on how her life would’ve been better if she were taller.

In TheWrap’s exclusive video, Richie recounts the moment she found out from a doctor that she would be short for life.

“It was like my life flashed in front of my eyes,” she remembered. “I started crying, I was wheelchaired out and I was on bed rest for three days.”

She also laments all the life experiences that she won’t be able to have at her height, including being a supermodel or having sun visors actually keep the sun out of her eyes in cars.

Ben Lyons, film critic and entertainment reporter (and apparently a friend of Nicole’s), tries to boost her mood with athletics and even signs her up to throw the first pitch at a baseball game. But, it won’t be what Nicole thinks it will be.

“Candidly Nicole” airs Thursdays at 10/9c on VH1.
