The Minnesota Vikings edged the San Francisco 49ers last night, scoring as time expired and then adding a two-point conversion with nothing but zeroes on the clock. Yes, it was preseason NFL football, but the NFC nail-biter still handed NBC a decisive Sunday primetime victory.

Fox finished second in the key 18-49 demographic with an NFL overrun of its own, though the network settled for fourth among total viewers. ABC and CBS tied for third place in the main demo.
