Vince Vaughn was arrested in Manhattan Beach on Sunday morning on DUI charges, the Manhattan Beach Police Department confirmed to TheWrap.

According to Sgt. Matt Sabosky, the actor was stopped at a DUI checkpoint at approximately 12:30 a.m. Vaughn was charged with DUI and resisting, delaying or obstructing officers and was accompanied by an unidentified male passenger, who was arrested for obstructing officers and public intoxication.

The two were taken into the Manhattan Beach Police Department on Sunday morning, but have since been released. Details about Vaughn’s bail weren’t immediately available.

While working on a film in North Carolina in 2001, Vaughn was arrested for public fighting. He entered a no contest plea and the charges were dropped after six months.

Vaughn’s most recent onscreen credit is the 2017 flick “Brawl in Cell Block 99,” in which he stars as a former boxer who leads a prison riot after being locked up. He is best known for his roles in films like “Wedding Crashers” and “Dodgeball” and the second season of HBO’s “True Detective.”

According to IMDb, Vaughn is a producer on several projects that are currently in development.

Vaughn’s lawyer and representatives did not immediately respond to TheWrap‘s request for comment regarding his arrest Sunday.
