‘Walking Dead’ Ep. 804 Promo: Carol’s in Trouble Again, and Ezekiel’s Still Giving Big Speeches (Video)

Next week on “The Walking Dead,” there will be car chases

(This post makes references to the events of the Nov. 5 episode of AMC’s “The Walking Dead.” You have been warned.)

Sunday’s episode of “The Walking Dead” was pretty eventful. We got a couple big character deaths, lots of Savior deaths and, with the cliffhanger at the end, what looks like a lot of Kingdommer deaths, but we’ll have to wait until next week to sort those bodies out.

The promo for next week’s ep, titled “Some Guy,” does not shed any light on that situation, aside from seemingly confirming that King Ezekiel (Khary Payton) was not among said bodies by having him deliver the narration this week.

It is, of course, not particularly a surprise that Ezekiel isn’t dead, considering the last shot of this week’s episode was of several Kingdom folks literally throwing themselves on Ezekiel to shield him from the many machine gun bullets flying their way.

“We face dire challenge and chance, rushing out of peace into war,” says Ezekiel, who is heard but not seen in the promo. “Our lives hang in the balance. We will fight, and we will bleed.”

Meanwhile, what we actually see under that voice-over is two main threads: Carol (Melissa McBride) seemingly being stalked and cornered by some bad guys, and Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) in a car chase after somebody, complete with him shooting his gun while on his motorcycle, which is always a delight.

Anywho, the promo is embedded at the top of the page here in case you missed that, so you can watch it for yourself and not just take my word for what’s in it. Have fun, and get hype.
