AMC has released the first teaser for the midseason premiere of the “The Walking Dead.”
In the teaser, we see Rick (Andrew Lincoln) just as we left him in the midseason finale. He and other members of his group stand on a porch covered in walker entrails and prepare to head to Alexandria’s armory. “I thought, living behind these walls was possible,” Rick says. “I was wrong.”
The teaser also features a brief shot of Glenn (Steven Yeun) inside the walls of Alexandria as he dispatches a walker while running through the streets. When we last saw him, he and Enid (Katelyn Nacon) were climbing a tree in an attempt to get back inside the city.
And of course, the teaser reminds us of the brief prologue scene that aired after the midseason finale that hinted at the arrival of the show’s upcoming big bad, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
“The Walking Dead” season six resumes on AMC on Feb. 14 at 9 p.m./8c.
