‘Walking Dead’ Sneak Peek Puts Daryl Under Negan’s Watch (Video)

New episodes of hit AMC series air Sundays at 9 p.m.

(Spoiler alert: Do not keep reading if you are not caught up on “The Walking Dead”)

In a sneak peek at next week’s “The Walking Dead,” Daryl (Norman Reedus) is forced to adjust to life among The Saviors.

We see the fan-favorite character being forced to conform to life among the group, including bowing when Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) walks past. Negan seems to have taken a special interest in Daryl, telling him in the clip, “You don’t scare easy. I love that.”

Daryl was taken back to The Saviors’ compound after the events of the Season 7 premiere. Negan decided to make an example of someone in the group, leading him to killing Abraham (Michael Cudlitz).

But after Daryl jumped up and punched Negan in the face for taunting members of the group following Abraham’s death, Negan got his revenge by also killing Glenn (Steven Yeun).

The episode will likely explore Daryl dealing with a tremendous amount of guilt for essentially causing his friend’s death, something Jeffrey Dean Morgan brought up during “Talking Dead” following the premiere.

The episode already looks like it will be much darker than this week’s, which introduced fans of the series to King Ezekiel (Khary Payton), the leader of The Kingdom who also happens to keep a pet tiger named Shiva.

“The Walking Dead” airs Sundays at 9 p.m/8c on AMC.
