‘Walking Dead’ Star Norman Reedus Makes Deadly ‘SNL’ Cameo With His Crossbow (Video)

Watch fan-favorite character Daryl Dixon save “Weekend Update” co-host Colin Jost from a questionable zombie attack

Fighting the undead has never been funnier.

“Walking Dead” star Norman Reedus made a surprise guest appearance on “Saturday Night Live’s” Weekend Update segment, in which Pete Davidson was attempting to give a spoiler-free recap of the hit AMC show’s season finale.

Unfortunately, Davidson helped himself to a little marijuana beforehand, leading him to instead worry that he would be mistaken for a zombie should the apocalypse actually come, especially it if happened while he was stoned.

“My eyes are glazed and bloodshot. I’m sluggish. I’m hunched over and shuffling, because that’s how I walk normally,” Davidson said during his routine.

Weekend Update co-host Colin Jost assured Davidson he would be fine, at which point Reedus — dressed as his character Daryl — fired a crossbow bolt into Davidson’s chest.

“You got to be careful buddy, he was about to go for the throat,” Reedus said to Jost.

Jost assured Reedus that Davidson was not a zombie, to which Reedus replied, “Really? What about this complexion? Ain’t no living thing’s got that color.”
