Warner Bros. Animation Promotes Two to SVP

Jay Bastian elevated to Senior Vice President, Series, and Ed Adams to Senior Vice President & General Manager

Warner Bros. Animation (WBA) has promoted two executives to new roles, the company announced Thursday.

Jay Bastian (pictured above, left) has been elevated to Senior Vice President, Series, and operations chief Ed Adams has been promoted to Senior Vice President & General Manager.

Bastian will continue to report to WBA President Sam Register and work closely with Peter Girardi, WBA’s Senior Vice President, Creative Affairs, in WBA’s creative team.

As SVP and General Manager, Adams becomes the top business and operational executive at WBA, with oversight for all of the division’s non-production activities.

“Jay and Ed have been invaluable members of the Warner Bros. Animation team since they joined the company in 2009,” Register said in a statement. “Together with Peter Girardi, they have been instrumental in the growth of the division, and our continued success would not be possible without their many creative and strategic contributions. I am extremely happy to be able to announce their well-deserved promotions today.”

WBA’s current television series include “Be Cool Scooby-Doo!,” “Teen Titans Go!,” “The Tom and Jerry Show” and “Wabbit – A Looney Tunes Production” for Cartoon Network, “Mike Tyson Mysteries” for Adult Swim and the upcoming “Green Eggs and Ham,” coming in 2018 to Netflix.
