Minnesota Sen. and “Saturday Night Live” alum Al Franken borrowed a page right out of Jimmy Kimmel’s playbook, reading mean tweets he received since announcing his support for Hillary Clinton.
The video, which bares the former secretary of state’s campaign logo on the bottom right corner, was tweeted out by Clinton’s team on Thursday ahead of the Minnesota caucus on Super Tuesday next week.
“Boooooooooooo!” one Twitter user said.
“Boooooooooooo! to you too,” Franklin respond.
One follower told him “mad tv sucked,” to which Franklin answered, “I wasn’t on Mad TV. I was pretty well known for being on SNL.”
