The “Broad City” crew is taking on President Trump when the fourth season finally premieres Aug. 23 on Comedy Central.
In a new trailer posted Sunday, Ilana and Abbi (Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson respectively) are back to their usual shenanigans, which include making their way to warmer climates, namely Florida. It’s a land of sunshine and guns.
Spurred on by some recent current events, the newest season is looking pretty political as well. At one point we see the duo at a rally wearing pussy hats. In a NSFW moment (which you could’ve assumed if you’ve seen the show), Ilana says “f— you, Trump” as she dives back into herself with a vibrator.
Season 4 is also packed with guest stars, many of which show up in the trailer. This includes Steve Buscemi, Wanda Sykes, RuPaul and Jane Curtin.
We’ll also see some progress on the loose plot threads the show introduced last season. Season 3 was filled with our two protagonists actually facing events that could force them to grow as people. Ilana found out about Abbi’s love affair with Trey, which led to their first fight. Lincoln (Hannibal Buress) and Ilana broke up, and Ilana finally got fired from her job. Many of these unanswered questions seem to be addressed in the upcoming season, if moments in the trailer are any indication.
Other things to expect this season: lots of drugs, Shania Twain (?), a strap-on, a shirtless Bevers, plastic surgery, and just about everything else. So it’s business as usual.
