Watch ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2’ Bloopers Ahead of Digital Release (Video)

Like, the moment that almost resulted in Kurt Russell “getting his face broken open”

Starlord fans, you’re in luck. The blooper reel for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” is out ahead of the digital release of the film on Aug. 8 and physical release on Aug. 22.

You can see a camera nearly clock actor Kurt Russell on the head, Chris Pratt and Russell playing around on cables and Zoe Saldana mugging for the camera.

Director James Gunn told Entertainment Weekly of the moment Russell almost got hit, “you look at him, and he’s such a pro, that he’s just standing there. Oh my god, it went way too close. We were just an inch away from him getting his face broken open and that would have been the end of Kurt Russell on ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.’”

The bonus features will also include a video for “Guardians Inferno,” which played over the closing credits and highlights David Hasselhoff, who had a cameo in the movie.

“I’ve been making movies since, I guess, 1995, and in all of that time, in all of the celebrities that I’ve worked with, only one has caused the crew to line up at the end of the day to get pictures, and that is David Hasselhoff,” Gunn told Entertainment Weekly. “He is a very unique person, and a unique personality, and he’s a joy to be around.”
