Watch Snoop Dogg’s Performance From ‘Empire’ Finale (Video)

The hip-hop star performs his new song “Peaches N Cream” on Fox’s two-hour special on Wednesday

Hip-hop star Snoop Dogg will be joining TV’s hottest soap opera on Wednesday.

The singer will perform his new song “Peaches N Cream” during the two-hour finale of “Empire” on Fox.

Snoop will also make a special appearance on the show as himself, as he is asked by reporters why he “decided to do a joint venture with Empire for his new album, Bush.”

“Lucious Lyon — the man, the myth, the legend,” said Snoop Dogg in a sneak peek posted on his Facebook page Monday. “Lucious cut me on a piece of the action.”

“This is the age of social justice,” said Terence Howard, playing founder and CEO of Empire Entertainment, before going on to quote another musical icon, Jay Z.

Wednesday's finale of the Lee Daniels drama also features Jennifer Hudson, Rita Ora, Juicy J and Patti Labelle. Meanwhile, Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) decides to flirt with the enemy, and Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) is cooking up a plan of her own. Snoop Dogg will also guest star on WWE's "Monday Night Raw" on March 23, and his real-life album “Bush” – which was produced by Pharrell Williams — will be released by Columbia Records on May 12.
