Watch the ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Cast Recreate Their Movie for James Corden (Video)

Cate Blanchett has some questions about the TV host’s “vision”

“Visionary” James Corden knows the next big thing that will shake up the film industry: 4D. And he got the cast of “Thor: Ragnarok” to demonstrate it on “The Late Late Show” Thursday night.

The cast surprised audience members at a screening of the movie at The Grove shopping center in Los Angeles near the CBS studios to perform a “4D” version of the movie.

“What you don’t know, is you have purchased a ticket to the future,” Corden said, interrupting the opening scene of the seventeenth Marvel installment.

As Corden narrated, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, Mark Ruffalo and Tessa Thompson acted out the story… with far less production value than the movie itself.

But not everyone was as excited about Corden’s “vision” as he might have hoped.

“I think those poor people might just want to watch the movie,” Blanchett told the camera. Later, during intermission, the camera caught her on the phone saying, “You’ve got to get me out of here, it’s a huge mistake.”

Watch the full performance above, and catch “Thor: Ragnarok” now in theaters.
