Watch This New ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Trailer While You Try to Buy Tickets (Video)

Movie ticket seller websites may be struggling, but at least Marvel dropped a new “Avengers: Endgame” trailer for us to pore over while we wait

It looks like Marvel Studios decided to drop one last big tease for “Avengers: Endgame” on us while they put tickets up for sale at the wee hours of the morning — and, yes, since we’re based in Los Angeles, this is a hella early time for us to have to care about buying anything.

Thus far, we’re not having much luck actually procuring tickets as all the sellers are swamped — no surprise, since this is probably the most anticipated Marvel movie maybe ever — but this trailer, which lasts one minute, is quite a doozy. It shows the surviving team assembling in a way we haven’t seen before — and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) facing off directly against Thanos in that torn up environment that was so prominent in that last trailer.

While short, this trailer might actually be more stuffed with content than either of the two full length ones. It shows that Tony Stark did manage to get the Guardians of the Galaxy’s ship, the Benatar, back to Earth, and the surviving Avengers assemble to use it to go after Thanos. And they do it shorthanded, as Colonel Rhodes (Don Cheadle) notes, “because he killed all our friends.”

And near the end we get Thanos taunting our heroes. “You could not live with your own failure. And what did that bring you? Back to me.”

Notably, this time we don’t get another look at those white uniform suits that made such a stir last time. And we also don’t get any hints about what kind of plan the Avengers have beyond simply going after Thanos. That is certainly on purpose — despite all we’ve seen of “Avengers: Endgame” so far, we still really do not have any idea where it’s gonna go or how crazy it’s gonna get.

But hey, we did get one very important detail — it looks like Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) survived the snap! That’s nice, at least.
