Weird Al Yankovic Bitches About ‘First World Problems’ in Newest ‘Mandatory Fun’ Song (Video)

Parody genius gripes over having to add unnecessary items to his Amazon cart to score free shipping, among other privileged problems

Weird Al Yankovic First World Problems

“Weird Al” Yankovic is experiencing “First World Problems” in his newest music video — the sixth of his eight day campaign to promote new album “Mandatory Fun.”

Released on Saturday, “First World Problems” sounds like a Pixies tune peppered with a bunch of ridiculous gripes.

“Tried to fast-forward through commercials/Can’t, I’m watching live TV/I’m pretty sure the cookies in the airport lounge aren’t gluten-free,” the song’s lyrics say.

And of course, something we’ve all experienced frustration with, but would never want to admit in public. “I had to buy something I didn’t even need just so I could qualify for free shipping on Amazon,” Yankovic sings.

In the end, the d-bag character played by Yankovic in a blonde wig gets hit by a car while texting in the street. Let that be a lesson to us all.
