‘Westworld’ Season 3 Trailer: Dolores Is Still Fighting Humans, Maeve Is Now Fighting Nazis (Video)

Comic-Con: Co-creator Jonathan Nolan also reveals subtitle for third season of HBO sci-fi series

Bring yourselves back online, “Westworld” fans, because the trailer for Season 3 of the HBO sci-fi series has finally dropped.

In the video above, which was released during the show’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, you’ll see the returns of characters like Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood), Maeve (Thandie Newton), Bernard (Jeffrey Wright), whoever is inside Charlotte Hale’s body (Tessa Thompson) and The Man in Black (Ed Harris).

The clip also features new character Caleb (Aaron Paul) and a mysterious man played by Vincent Cassel.

From the looks of things in the trailer, Dolores, Bernard and Hale are in the real world — where we left them at the end of Season 2 — and Maeve is still inside Delos Destinations, but in a new World War II-themed park where she’s fighting Nazis.

After the preview screened for fans in the room at Comic-Con, co-creator Jonathan Nolan revealed the subtitle for Season 3, which will premiere in 2020: “The New World.” (Reminder: The secret title for Season 1 was “The Maze,” and Season 2’s was “The Door.”)

Along with Nolan, panelists at “Westworld” Season 3’s Hall H appearance included his fellow co-creator Lisa Joy, as well as cast members Wood, Newton, Wright, Thompson, Paul and Luke Hemsworth.
