‘What/If’ Trailer: Renee Zellweger Shoots an Arrow at Jane Levy’s Head – and That’s the Least Insane Part (Video)

Netflix thriller “explores the ripple effects of what happens when acceptable people start doing unacceptable things”

In the new trailer for Netflix’s neo-noir social thriller, “What/If,” Renée Zellweger shoots an arrow at Jane Levy’s head — and misses, thankfully — but that’s maybe the least insane thing that happens in the two-minute, 27-second preview for the upcoming show that “explores the ripple effects of what happens when acceptable people start doing unacceptable things.”

Per Netflix, the first season of “What/If” focuses on a mysterious woman’s (Zellweger) lucrative, but dubious offer to a cash-strapped pair of San Francisco newlyweds.

Watch the trailer above to see just how dubious that all gets as multiple people are playing with fire here in Zellweger’s character’s very dangerous game.

“What/If” stars Zellweger (“Cold Mountain,” “Jerry Maguire”), Levy (“Castle Rock,””Suburgatory”), Blake Jenner (“American Animals,” “Glee”), Samantha Ware (“Glee”), Keith Powers (“Famous in Love”), Daniella Pineda (“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”), Juan Castano (“Shades of Blue”), John Clarence Stewart (“Marvel’s Luke Cage”), Dave Annable (“Brothers & Sisters”) & Louis Herthum (“West World”).

The series is executive produced by showrunner Mike Kelley, Melissa Loy for Page Fright, Alex Gartner and Charles Roven for Atlas Entertainment, and Robert Zemeckis and Jack Rapke for Compari Entertainment. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television for Netflix.

“What/If” launches May 24 on Netflix.
