Yikes; sounds like somebody needs a geography lesson.
A “Wheel of Fortune” contestant named David provided an example of how to win and yet somehow still lose this week, as he mistook Paris for a country. And also suggested that he maybe thinks Venice is located in France.
The fun began as his partner Keri correctly solved the puzzle “Gondola Ride Through Venice,” thus winning a trip for the pair.

“Let’s check your geography knowledge,” host Pat Sajak said. “What country do you think we’re sending you to?”
“Paris,” David blurted out.
After which he attempted to correct himself, offering, “France.”
“Do we still get it?” Keri asked following the double blunder.

“Yeah, we’re sending you to Italy,” Sajak replied.
