The 21-year-old was found unconscious in a bathtub a day earlier and was being treated in the intensive care unit at North Fulton Hospital. She has been placed in a medically induced coma, local TV news station CBS 46 Atlanta reported.
While her condition has been stabilized, Brown remains unresponsive, according to Entertainment Tonight. The “machine is aiding” and “she has vital signs,” a source told “ET.” The entertainment news magazine also reported on its website that Bobbi Kristina’s family has been told to prepare for the worst.
Brown was rushed to the hospital Saturday after being found face down in a filled bathtub at her home. The Roswell Police Department responded to the 911 call when her husband, Nick Gordon and a friend found Bobbi Kristina face down in the tub at 10:30 a.m. EST.
Roswell police did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment Sunday.
In a previous statement, officer Lisa Holland said police administered life-saving measures until Brown could be transported to a hospital.
“Her husband and a friend located her in a bath tub this morning and she was unresponsive. He started CPR and a police officer took over life-saving measures until an ambulance arrived. She was transported to the hospital. Please keep her and the family in your thoughts and prayers.”

The situation is especially chilling given that Houston was found dead of a drug overdose in a bathtub at Los Angeles’ Beverly Hilton Hotel. She died Feb. 11, 2012 during Grammy Awards weekend.
An investigation into the incident surrounding Bobbi Kristina’s hospitalization is now underway by police officials.
