The former star of the Discovery Channel reality series “Sons of Guns” was sentenced to spend the rest of his life behind bars after being convicted of rape.
Will Hayden was sentenced Thursday to two life sentences plus 40 years, with the life sentences running concurrently, CBS affiliate WAFB reports.
Louisiana-based Hayden will not be eligible for probation, parole or suspension of sentence, according to East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Hillar Moore.
Hayden was convicted in April on two counts of aggravated rape and one count of forcible rape.
According to the Associated Press, one victim testified that she was repeatedly raped by Hayden in a string of incidents spanning more than a year when she was 11 and 12.
The other victim said that raped her in the early 1990s, when she was 12 and 13.
Hayden denied the allegations during his own testimony.
“Sons of Guns,” which aired from 2011to 2014, revolved around Hayden’s custom firearms business, Red Jacket Firearms LLC.
